What the columns mean
- Listed
- Flipkart's price on the product page, already its own discount off MRP.
- Coupon
- Flipkart's coupon, applied at checkout. When a coupon is limited to jewellery or to certain products, the rows it cannot touch show "n/a". Comes off the listed price first.
- Card
- The bank offer for the card you picked, worked out on the price after the coupon. Every bank offer is capped in rupees, so the same "10%" is worth less on a heavier piece. EMI-only offers, and offers whose terms exclude gold (Flipkart Axis and Flipkart SBI cashback do), are not shown.
- You pay
- Listed − coupon − card. The two stack; that is the whole point of the board.
- Per gram
- What you pay, divided by the piece's gold weight.
- Needs
- The total discount off the listed price that piece needs before it is worth more than you pay. A row is marked when your stack beats it.
- Difference
- Metal worth minus what you pay, at the rate and haircut you set. 22K is valued at 91.6% of 24K. Jewellery carries making charges, so it needs a bigger stack than a coin to clear.
